Getting to the church

St Stephen’s Church, Lewisham

St Stephen’s Church stands in the centre of Lewisham on Granville Grove, very close to the station. A beautiful Victorian building, designed by Gilbert Scott, it has an excellent acoustic, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

By Train:

National Rail: from Charing Cross, London Bridge, and London Waterloo East to Lewisham station. Turn left out of the station, cross the main road, and Granville Grove is immediately opposite.

DLR: Lewisham Station is also a DLR terminus – directions as for National Rail.

By Car:

Parking is very limited in the area – largely restricted to residents’ permit-holders. There is a public car-park on Molesworth Street, but in general public transport is much more convenient.
