St Paul’s Sinfonia conductor Andrew Morley took to the podium at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on 1st August 2026, conducting the National Children’s Orchestras in a programme celebrating American orchestral music.

The concert included Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Rodeo, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and An American in Paris, alongside music by Dominique Le Gendre and Bernstein.

The performance marked the culmination of a residential week for NCO’s eldest young musicians, aged 13 and 14.
