St Paul’s Sinfonia is available for hire for choral societies, corporate events, and outside concert entertainments.
Let the orchestra’s fixers take away the pressure of finding players from a list of unknown names, and instead give you the certainty that you will be hiring a pre-existing band with the expertise, the energy and the experience to fulfil any requirements! From Vivaldi’s Gloria to Poulenc’s Gloria, from Mozart’s Requiem to Karl Jenkins’s Requiem, from pieces written hundreds of years ago to brand-new works commissioned specially for the occasion, St Paul’s Sinfonia can play it all. Priced very economically, we can guarantee that St Paul’s Sinfonia will provide the best possible service for you.
St Paul’s Sinfonia has already performed with choral societies in London and the south-east, to a very warm reception from singers and audiences alike. We have performed some of the most frequently-heard works for chorus and orchestra (Mozart’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, both for the Downland Chorale); on the less-well-known side, we have accompanied the Blackheath Choir in Elgar’s From the Bavarian Highlands and Coleridge-Taylor’s Hiawatha.
We understand that choral societies can have limited budgets, and so we are always willing to be flexible in terms of the number of players booked and the overall budget. We can provide less-commonly-used instruments (of which harps are the most obvious), or any unusual percussion at a small extra cost, which can always be negotiated.
