St Paul’s Sinfonia leader James Widden and principal cello Alison Holford can be heard on composer David Wallace’s forthcoming album Cliff Edge, released by Métier Records on 4th September 2026.

James appears on violin and viola alongside an international group of performers including clarinettist Heather Roche, pianist Chenyin Li, and harpist Jean Kelly.

The album brings together six works written by Wallace between 2006 and 2025 that illuminate his distinctive approach to material-led composition.
